School Safety & Security

Missouri Valley School District follows the safety program that is called the Standard Response Protocol (SRP).

The SRP is based on these four actions: Lockout, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter. In the event of an emergency, the action and appropriate direction will be called on the announcement/intercom system.  The four actions are listed below along with a description and short videos on each action.

Lockout

The threat is OUTSIDE the building, nobody is allowed inside or out and we continue "business as usual".
